REAL Food Oatmeal Pancakes

I love breakfast foods and wouldn’t mind eating them all day long! This recipe has oatmeal, bananas, eggs, pears, as well as other goodies added in. These ingredients are staples in our house which means I can whip these up anytime.

Makes 6 pancakes
Serving size: 2 each

½ Banana, mashed
1 Egg
1 Egg white
¼ + 1/8 cup Steel cut oatmeal
1/8 cup Flaxseed,ground
2 tsp Chia seeds
Sprinkles of Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Hemp seeds
½ of a Pear, chopped (or blueberries)

Mix the mashed banana with the egg and egg white. Then add the dry ingredients and stir. Fold in the fruit. Cook on a skillet. *We don’t add syrup as they are sweet enough as is!

*For a pumpkin variation, simply add 3 Tablespoons of pumpkin puree, omit the pears and replace the cinnamon with pumpkin pie spice. The pumpkin pancakes are pictured above. Enjoy!
